roasted vegetable hamburgers
  1. 1 pound extra lean ground beef
  2. 1/3 cup The Gracious Gourmet Roasted Vegetable Tapenade
  3. 1 tablespoon Panko (Japanese-style) bread crumbs
  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  5. freshly ground black pepper
  6. thinly sliced Cheddar or Mozzarella cheese (optional)
  7. 4 ciabatta rolls or hamburger buns, sliced
  1. Gently combine ground beef, Roasted Vegetable Tapenade, bread crumbs, salt and pepper.
  2. Form into 4 patties.
  3. Grill or broil 4 to 5 minutes per side, turning once.
  4. Shortly before burgers are done, top with cheese, if desired.
  5. Serve in rolls.
